Packet One successfully launched the Wireless@KL Project on 12 May 2008 at the Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur (DBKL). The guest of honour was the Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Zulhasnan Rafique who was accompanied by the Mayor of Kuala Lumpur Datuk Abdul Hakim Borhan.
